Part 4: Christ's Humanity, Our Salvation

1. His humanity enabled Him to regain man’s lost dominion. Hebrews 2:5-9
   1. When God created the first man and women, he gave them dominion over His creation. Gen. 1:26-31
   2. But mankind lost that dominion. Heb. 2:8, Gen. 3
   3. Jesus, the last Adam, regained that dominion, and today, everything is under His feet. Eph. 1:20-23
2. His humanity enabled Him to bring many sons and daughters to glory. Heb. 2:10-13
   1. He is the “Pioneer of Salvation” and enables us to experience His glory as we trust Him for salvation. John 17:22-24
   2. He calls us brothers and sisters in the congregation singing praise! Heb. 2:12
3. His humanity enabled Him to disarm Satan and deliver us from death. Hebrews 2:14-16
   1. Because of the atonement, Satan is disarmed: rendered inoperative. Col. 2:15
   2. He frees us from the fear of death. 1 John 4:18
4. His humanity enables Him to be a sympathetic High Priest to His people. Hebrews 2:17-18
   1. Through Jesus’ suffering, He made the once for all atonement Himself.
   2. Through His humanity and suffering, he now helps us through our temptation. 1 Cor. 10:14

MISSION TRIPS 2025: Final cut offs to sign up for Los Angeles Dreamcenter and the youth trip to Alabama will be February 15. Currently we have 11 people signed up for Los Angeles and 14 for the youth trip. The Cuba trip we have some more time to sign up but we only have four people so far and we need a minimum of 10. See Deric to sign up today.
