Acts 1:1-3, 1 Cor. 15:3-8
APPLICATION: Christ’s bodily resurrection appearances
prove God’s kingdom promises are literally true.
2. Wait before the LORD, on the Holy Spirit.
Acts 1:4-5, Is. 40:31, Ps. 37:7, 1 Kgs 19:12
APPLICATION: Cultivate quiet assurance of the Spirit’s
indwelling through faith, acknowledgment, and
confession before God daily.
3. Watch and witness. Acts 1:6-12
APPLICATION: Receive the Holy Spirit’s empowerment
and actively testify to Christ’s resurrection in your daily
life at home and to the world.
4. Work together through change. Acts 1:13-26
APPLICATION: Navigating change demands that leaders
seek collective wisdom, ground decisions in Scripture,
and trust God’s guidance even when outcomes remain
uncertain.
