1. Prioritize love and mercy.  Luke 14:1-6

2. Embrace humility and grace. Luke 14:7-11
   Application: Stop pursuing recognition and trust God to establish your worth. James 4:10
3. Invite and include others. Luke 14:12-15
   Application: Intentionally make room for people who can offer you nothing in return. Romans 15:7
4. Remove excuses and respond. Luke 14:16-24
   Application: Put Christ above every competing priority and respond while the invitation remains open. 2 Corinthians 6:2
