Part 3: The One Thing

1. PRIORITIZE knowing and learning from Jesus. Luke 10:38-42
   1. Schedule the “One Thing” before everything else. Mark 1:35
   2. Withdraw to be with Jesus, not just think about Him. Phil 3:10-11
   3. Starting with Jesus isn’t delay—it’s the difference between striving and thriving. 
      1. Clarity replaces wasted effort. Prov. 3:5-6
      2. Peace replaces internal pressure. Is. 26:3
      3. Power replaces self-effort. John 15:5; Is. 40:31

2. PRAY: Jesus gave us a model prayer to follow: Luke 11:1-4
   1. PRAISE: We honor God for who He is. Luke 11:2a
   2. PRIORITY: We submit our will and align our hearts to God’s will. Luke 11:2b
   3. PROVISION: We ask and trust God for our daily needs. Luke 11:3
   4. PARDON: We receive and extend forgiveness in our relationships. Luke 11:4a
   5. PROTECTION: We ask God for deliverance and protection from the enemy. Luke 11:4b

3. PERSIST: Keep on asking, seeking, and knocking, and the LORD will come through. Luke 11:5-10

4. POWER: As a good Father gives good gifts to His children, even more will Your heavenly Father empower you with His Holy Spirit, empowering you. Luke 11:11-13
