Part 1: When the King Walks In

1. The King’s authority recognized: Luke 7:1-10
   1. Stage One: Crisis faith—“I need help!”
   2. Recognize: His Word is sufficient.
   3. APPLICATION: This week, identify one area where you are asking for clarity when you already have Scripture — and obey what you know.
2. The King’s compassion displayed: Luke 7:11-17
   1. Stage Two: Confronting mortality—“This world cannot save me.”
   2. Recognize: His Mercy is restorative.
   3. APPLICATION: Receive mercy where you feel powerless — and extend mercy where someone else feels forgotten.
3. The King’s identity questioned: Luke 7:18-23  
   1. Stage Three: Crisis of doubt—“Who are You really?”
   2. Recognize: His Identity fulfills God’s promise.
   3. APPLICATION: When expectations collapse, return to revelation — let Scripture define Christ, not your circumstances.
4. The King’s visit exposes hearts: Luke 7:24-35
   1. Stage Four: Crisis of allegiance—“Will you submit?”
   2. Recognize: His Presence demands response.
   3. APPLICATION: Stop critiquing the King — and bow where He has already spoken.
