Message

  1. RECOGNIZE God’s salvation: Simeon Luke 2:25-35
    1. Posture to SEE: Walk in the Holy Spirit. He revealed specific things, Simeon organized his life around those things, and walked in devout righteousness.
    2. He saw the Gospel: 
      1. The Uniting: Understood the identity of Jesus, drawing all those who believe and hope in Him.
      2. The Dividing: Separating out the proud who will not believe.
  2. SPEAK God’s salvation: Anna Luke 2:36-38
    1. Posture to SPEAK: Worshiping, fasting, prayer, thankfulness. She organized her life around those things.
    2. She spoke of Him to all who were waiting for the redemption of Israel.
  3. LIVE God’s salvation: Jesus Luke 2:40-52
    1. Posture to LIVE: Listening and asking questions. Jesus organized his life around these things
    2. Jesus grew in ordinary ways: Wisdom, stature, Favor with God, Favor with man
  4. PONDER God’s salvation: Mary Luke 2:19, 51
    1. Posture to PONDER: Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.
