Part 1: The Coming King

1. Trust Him, He is working in the silence. Luke 1:5-10, 23-25
   1. Silence does not mean absence.
   2. Obscurity is not abandonment, it’s often preparation.
2. Stand firm, His promises are certain so anchor in His Word. Luke 1:1-4, 13-17
   1. Anchor your life, not in circumstances but in Scripture.
   2. What He promised, He will perform.
3. Prepare your heart, Jesus comes to people who are ready to receive Him. Luke 1:16-17
   1. Prepare room for the King:
   2. Repent of hidden sin.
   3. Repair strained relationships.
   4. Return to God in faith and tenderness.
   5. Before the King arrives externally, He must reign internally
4. Believe and rejoice, God brings life from the impossible. Luke 1:18-20, 24-25
   1. God confronts our doubt not to condemn us but to grow us.
   2. Advent is the season of God overturning impossibility.

NEXT SUNDAY: Join us next week for week 2 of Adent season: Nothing is Impossible with God. When we see an impossibility, God sees an opportunity to break through, build our faith, and reveal Himself. See you next week.
