Part 7: From the Prison to the Palace

1. Raised in God’s Time. (vv. 37-45)
   1. 1 Samuel 2:8, The Lord raises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes.
   2. Philippians 2:9-11, Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow.
2. Raised to Preserve Life. (vv. 46-49)
   1. In Christ, the true bread of life, there is sufficiency to feed the whole world, though few are willing to taste. - Calvin
3. Raised to Reign in Glory. (vv. 50-57)
   1. Grace is not always a cool drink. Sometimes, it's a hammer, as God lovingly works to bend, mold, and reshape us into his likeness.  - Tripp
4. Application:
   1. Bow to the Son.
   2. See your suffering reframed.
   3. Trust God’s global plan.
